Class
A class is a form and a content, and a place and an occupation at the same time. Mathematics, writing, Russian language, the world around us – all this is a «class».
The specific choice of the subject is left to the teacher and pupils.
Chess
Chess is an intellectual logic game that makes the weels in your head turn and creak. How to predict the opponent's next move? How to bring your pieces to an advantageous position? How to come up with a winning strategy or orient yourself depending on the situation on the chessboard?
Students learn to do all of this in chess lessons, solving logical problems and participating in games.
Consult class
Consult class is rather not a lesson, but an educational space. The student who comes to the consultation decides together with a teacher what to do: for someone it is important to revise the lesson material again, and for others to go further and master more complex tasks.
Library
The library is one of the most popular places in Apelsin, anyone can come here at any time, take a book from the shelf and just read. We don't have reading lessons. Instead, there is a "Library" lesson where everyone reads the book they like.
English language
English lessons help children avoid the phrase "I wish I had learnt English at school" in the future. In the lessons, we use a communicative technique, develop speaking skills, watch and listen in the original language, and also communicate with native speakers. Creative classes, discussion of all kinds of topics in English, a lot of interaction in pairs and mini-groups — all this helps to immerse yourself in the language and learn it naturally, and memorize it from the textbook.
Fitness
Fitness classes in Apelsin are held in a playful way. But for outdoor sports and good health, physical conditioning is important, which is what part of these classes is dedicated to.
Art
The art lesson is about how to tell your own story in a different way, how to be able to portray it on a piece of paper, to make a point, to convey emotions, feelings.
Charcoal, watercolor, gouache, crayons – the choice is up to the author.
Dance class
Dancing benefits both body and spirit. It develops plasticity, rhythmics and body coordination. It teaches you to combine movements and music into a single whole. You can dance either on your own or all together, enjoying the process.
Drama class
At this class, we try out, play, learn to speak out, manifest ourselves through acting and directing techniques. This is a very live and creative process. We read texts, play sketches and just communicate, and still wonder "What is possible in the theater?".
Design
Design. What is it? Is it beautiful or comfortable? What is its key difference from other types of fine art? Searching for the answers to these questions, we create our own design objects.
History
History is a complex, but at the same time incredible science.
It is complex, because simple knowledge of the facts is not enough to explain any events and processes. We need to try to «live through» that time, capture its spirit.
It is incredible, because history is able to explain why now we are living in such a world.
That's what we're trying to do in history lessons. How? More sources and reflections — and less conclusions that had already been made.
Flute
In flute lessons we study sound, its diversity and harmony. The flute is the most ancient musical instrument, so it is very well suited for exploring the musical world.
Yoga
Yoga is not only an opportunity to make yourself stronger and more flexible, but also the time that you can devote to yourself and to the moment in which you are.
Circus
Circus lessons are a synthesis of acrobatics, juggling, jumping rope, rhythm and, of course, performance – performance as the ability to creatively express yourself.
Studio
The studio is a magical space where there are all kinds of different materials, sometimes very unexpected. Students come up with an idea of what they want to create, choose which materials to use for their project and find ways to bring their idea to life. At the lesson, you can see at the same time a new house for a hamster, a bird in a nest, and a Chinese dragon.
History of the city
Our city is so beautiful, and in order to really fall in love with it, you have to go around the city on foot, look for «your own» place: a courtyard decorated by an artist, the sky from a tiny yard-well, a 150-year-old hallway with preserved Mettlach tiles and a fireplace, and so on.
So that's what we do — just walk, watch, discuss.
Sewing
On sewing lessons, everyone has the opportunity to translate their ideas into something tangible and soft. We sew toys together, clothes for them and all kinds of accessories, figure out how to sew a button and how to make your own shopper-bag.
Cooking
Cooking is a lesson where you can cut, beat, knead, boil, bake something delicious. And the most pleasant thing is to eat that «something delicious» afterwards, and, of course, to share it with your friends!
Swimming classes
There is no swimming pool in Apelsin, but there are swimming classes. For 10 years now, every Wednesday, the children who want to go swimming are taken by bus to a sports club. Classes are held in three groups under the guidance of couches.
Special course
Every week on Wednesdays there is an opportunity to attend a special course. Art history, music history, law, theology – all these are special courses chosen and attended by students. Classes in each one of these directions are held once a month in completely different interesting formats.
Media
On media lessons there is a great opportunity not only to get acquainted with various genres of media art, but also to get a real professional experience! During the year, students try themselves in various roles: photographer, model, sound engineer, copywriter, decorator, digital designer, film critic… The list could go endlessly!
Eventually, the participants create their very own media product, in which they demonstrate the experience gained in various fields and share their own exciting ideas. Therefore, the words "Lights! Camera! Action!" here are not only sound and smoke.
Physics
During physics class students in different ways explore the world around them and find the reasons why it works exactly this way. Philosophy, mathematics and just observation – all these are tools that we use at the lesson.
  • Dima
Hi! I invented Apelsin because I like to communicate with people more than anything, regardless of their age and height. Well, I also really, really love creativity. Especially in a good company.
  • Natasha
I love fairy tales, I believe in good wizards, dwarves and elves, magic wands and flying carpets. Apelsin is my long-standing dream. I have always wanted to create a space for free creativity, where every child can fulfill himself.
  • Dora
modeling, history of the city, mathematics
The language closest to me is the language of colors, shades and shapes. Water-color and gouache, clay and plasticin — these are the best tools for self-expression.
  • Masha
"Apelsin" is a place of creativity, knowledge, freedom, choice, warmth and support.
Here everyone is important, everything matters.
  • Olya
    teacher of the first level
Hi. I have been working with children of different ages for many years. But, to be honest, I especially like younger ones. They are so curious and so talented. And together we discover and explore the WORLD.
  • Regina
drama class, media, teacher of the first level
I used to think that curiosity was something frivolous, but it turned out that owing to it you can do interesting, important things and make discoveries.
I am glad that at elective theater lessons we try, play, learn to speak through the theater. This is a very lively and creative process, where I myself learn a lot from actors!
For me, Apelsin is a space filled with an atmosphere where you will be heard and helped. There is a dialogue here, the unity of so many different people and real co-creation!
  • Lena
  • Vika
    teacher of the first level
I managed to be a meteorologist and photographer, and also a sailor and a guide. And now I can combine all of this, because being a teacher at Apelsin is the most creative job in the world. I also learn every day from my youngest children, and Apelsin was exactly the place where I realized that every person is the whole Universe. Therefore, I try not to teach them, but to gently introduce them to the world and share all the most wonderful and amazing things, that's how real magic appears.
  • Katya
    teacher of the first level
  • Tanya
yoga, teacher of the first level
I am interested in a lot of things, and what I am interested in, I try to explore in every possible way. Doing it in our Apelsin Team is much more fun. My favorite language is movement. And in yoga classes we will discover the magic of owning your own body. See you soon.
  • Inga
    teacher of the first level
Apelsin is a place where it's not scary to be yourself, a place where your feelings and thoughts matter.
I work with children who are 5-7 years old and learn from them to be surprised by things that have become obvious to us adults. Making discoveries every day – isn't it wonderful?
  • Ira
    fitness
My main passion is sports. Therefore, we spend every free minute in Apelsin in sports entertainment: ball games and fitness, snowball fights and exercise. Bring your skis and we'll go skiing!
  • Masha
    teacher of the second level
Apelsin for me is a place where different people of different ages with different ideas live here and now, chase their dreams, and everyone's dream is unique! And that's amazing when you see how people are seeking, creating, inventing, doubting, finding, admiring, and sometimes just being sad. And it's cool when there are people around who will share both joy and sadness with you!
  • Ira
    teacher of the second level
I remember my childhood very well. And I remember how a funny toy was bought to me — a kaleidoscope. I immediately opened it. Jagged fragments of ordinary multicolored glass spilled out of it. But when I looked at these pieces of glass through the window of a kaleidoscope — it was magic! Each piece is a jewel! And what bizarre patterns they formed! And so are the children. Everyone is a discovery, a jewel! And in every situation they manifest themselves in a new way.
  • Grisha
    teacher of the second level
Sometimes I envy our kids. Being honest with yourself is an important skill. It's so great that the students of Apelsin acquire it from an early age!
  • Tanya
    teacher of the second level
I love learning, teaching and having fun. I'm best at coming up with games and playing them in class. The more games, the better the knowledge J
  • Fatima
    teacher of the second level
Children are very interesting and so much fun. Communication with children is a creative process for me. The process of co-creation, building of something new together with children — it's a fascinating interchange. I like to watch children, for their spontaneity and purity of perception. I try to learn from them this spontaneity and the ability to live in the moment.
  • Alla
    teacher of the second level
Hello. I believe that every day brings us something magical, the main thing is to be able to see it. For 10 years now I have been helping little people learn to write, read and count. And they, of course, sometimes give me the opportunity to look at the world through their eyes….Through the eyes of the Childhood itself… And believe me — it's Magical.
  • Sveta
calligraphy, sewing, teacher of the second level
Maybe we may not always be able to do what we want to do, but if we only did what we wanted, we would never have started. The spring of youth is still not over.
  • Natasha
mathematics, friend of the third level
Apelsin is a place for creativity and getting to know yourself over and over again.
    - And in math lessons either?
    - Especially on them! Learning with pleasure, humor and discoveries every day — this is about Apelsin!
  • Anya
russian language, friend of the second level
  • Yugko
calligraphy, a friend of the third level
I have a very unusual name, but it's easy to remember: Yugko (in Russian it means «South»). I love smiles, light, bright colors, activity, and I am glad to be with you in Apelsin, where it is possible to combine all of this. Also, I believe that one of the difficult and useful skills of a person is the ability to be friends. And in such a big team, it is definitely a necessary and important skill to learn.
  • Tanya
geography, a friend of the third level
Do you think that geography is a science of the past? That there are no blank spaces left on the planet and the romance of travel and discovery is inaccessible to modern people?
Geography can still surprise and capture the attention not only of a teenager dreaming of the laurels of the explorer, but also of an adult!
In the past, there were times when travelers' diaries were read much more than adventure novels. But are there really so many differences between them?
Now geography has acquired a new form, its goals and targets have changed. For the first time in the history of mankind, issues of ecology, climate and even outer space are included in the sphere of geographical interests. In the geographical shell, everything is interconnected, and if we want to save our planet, we need to comprehend the laws by which it lives. These are the tasks of the new geography. Let's solve them together?!

It is incredible, because history is able to explain why we are living in such a world with its pros and cons.
That's why I'm a BIG fan of history. It's so great to plunge into the times of the French Revolution and understand how it defined the life of modern France. Oh, my beloved history…
  • Masha
    english language
Hi! For me, English is about opportunities. About confidence while traveling, about career prospects, about access to materials that have not yet been translated (and perhaps will not be). About the romance of reading original books and watching your favorite movies with the original voiceover. And also about the opportunity to have a great time doing and studying things that you like.
  • Sasha
    outdoor games
For me, Apelsin is definitely not a job… it's rather a small door to summer. Into a parallel universe with its own rules and morals. The best is in me!
    About me: let me do…
  • Olya
    russian language
Hi, my name is Olya. I help kids to study for Russian language and literature final exams. And I believe that exams are just an excuse to have fun and organize knowledge.
  • Anya
    social studies, history
  • Masha
    art, studio, design
  • Marusya
    chemistry, biology
Hi, I'm Marusya! What could be more interesting than exploring yourself? Only exploring the world around you. How do plants survive in the desert, how does a hummingbird hang in the air, how does breathing work and how to make an indicator out of cabbage?
Anatomy, physiology, zoology, botany, chemistry, ecology — these are just a few sciences that we get acquainted with in our lessons. Would you like to join us?
  • Igor
    chess
Hello, I'm Igor, my profession is a chessplayer. What task do I set for myself? So that a person of 6 years old sitting down with his dad at the chessboard would easily win the game. Of course, if Dad is not a grandmaster)
  • Galya
    cooking
I can boast that my lesson is the most delicious and one of the most popular.
A cooking lesson is all the joys at once: cheerful communication, slicing salads, roses made of dough and apples, face masks made of flour and cucumbers…
The variety of life is in the variety of tastes.
  • Dima
    IT
Hi! I've loved mathematics and programming since school. And I didn't like chemistry, I usually got bad grades. I entered the university as a chemist, became a candidate of chemical sciences, but my love for programming was stronger. Now I teach IT and programming! Do what you love and love what you do.
